The activities of the project “Work-Life Management and CSR in the financial sector“, promoted by First Cisl and financed by the European Commission, are proceeding.
The project’s objective is to build a network of trade unionists prepared on working life balance matters and capable to negotiate on these matters using innovative methods. The project involves a large partnership: eight European countries, the International Federation Uni Global and its Department Uni Europa Professionals and Managers, Eurocadres (the union of the European Confederation cadres) and Federmanagement, a national employers association.
The central theme is the management of work-life balance, split into two interrelated areas of study: the rebalancing of responsibilities in the family, to encourage the participation of women at work, and the rebalancing of life and work times to protect workers’ health from stress at work and the relates psychosocial risks. Both issues have also been deepened from the point of view of professionals and managers.
The transnational training course held in Vico Equense, the first of the two planned by the project activities, launched an open opinion survey, in electronic format, composed of 6 multiple choice questions and available in all the languages of the participating countries, with the intent to gather the experiences of workers across Europe on managing work-life balance and using electronic device. The data collected will provide us with information by country, age, gender, roles and family situation.
The results will be analyzed and presented during “the Change”, the training course which will take place next spring.
